   Don’t, and I mean Don’t waste your money!!!!!! It is Not Reliable, and the Customer support is useless!!!!!!

   I’ve been using the pen for a few months and it worked perfectly, it recognized everything i wrote and the recording was excellent as well. One day after the pen tried doing a flash update, it stopped working and i received a system failure: 2. I went online and on the support section i found an article that clarified that the failure was due to an ancient fireware on the pen and i needed to do a flash updated. It provided me with the software to do the flash update. This was all excellent, except that it didn’t work.

   So i sent a support request to the company to question for help and all they did was point me to the flash update tool, even though i’ve repeatedly sent mails which clarified to them that i’ve already tried it and it did not work. The request was sent over a month back. After may last message, where i expressed my dissatisfaction, i got not response from the company.

   So not to bore you further here is my conclusion, the company doesn’t know how to support their product. My interaction also left me with the feel that they were overwhelmed with support calls which means this product is not reliable (see other reviews).

   I wish i had read some of the reviews before i spent $150.00+ (with accessories), so if you want to save your self $150 don’t buy this product, look for more reliable vendors that can support their product.

   I was looking for a digital-notepad that I can use while attending meetings, etc to take notes. I looked at a number of different solutions, and came across this product at J&R store. Bought it, and figured I would return it if I didn’t like it.

   Let me tell you, I am amazed at the technology and the thought that has gone into building this product. You have two options: taking notes, and taking notes with audio.

   You can start writing, and it will “record” and transfer your writing into documents once you sync with your PC. You need to your their paper, and that is probably the only downside. To be honest, I do not know how they could provide some of their features otherwise.

   You can “click” on record, and start writing. Their paper has a record button at the bottom of every page, and when you go your pen over it, it recognizes it and it starts recording.

   Now, start typing, and it will record as you type. Stop recording, and it will remember what was recorded while you typed. So, if you tab the pen somewhere on the paper and it will replay that exact time of the recording. Simply incredible, and it words flawlessly.

   Connect the pen to your PC, and it will synchronize your documents and recording. You can do the same replay on your desktop, convert to PDF, print, save, etc. You can upload and convert the entire session into a flash to be viewed by anyone!

   The icing is the applications that you can buy for the pen. The pen is a small computer that you can install applications such as a dictionary, calculator, etc. You install the English-Spanish dictionary, and write a word down on paper. It will translate it you Spanish!

   There are a whole slew of applications for this pen. If you are a developer you can write applications more it, and like iPhone, sell it!

   I highly recommend. The price is higher than I would have liked, but I am sure that I will come down once more and more people buy it.

   This is one of those things once you start using, you don’t know how you lived without it. My favorite feature is the ability to search my own scribbly notes. I have horrible handwriting, and the software is able to READ it and FIND stuff that I search for. INCREDIBLE. I also bought the text conversion add-in, but rarely use it. I also don’t use the sound recording option much. I primarily use the note capture feature and find it extremely useful in my job. Everyone I show this thing to wants it, and bet I see a dozen of them around the office after Christmas.
